COLD EVERY WHERE: When the entire area being monitored by a thermostat is cold, the problem is most likely a zone valve or a pump problem NOISY PUMP: Needs oil, bad bearings, rust build up in the volute. CLEAN BOILERCleaning the boiler on a regular basis will help the boiler run more efficiently.  Many boilers are equipped with roll out sensors searching for exhaust and flame roll out caused by a dirty heat exchanger. ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS: From shorts to burnt fuses, electrical problems can be tricky to find.  They are normally easy to fix once they are located. NO WATER PRESSUREMost boilers are equipped with a automatic fill valve, on occasion these valves can stick, and in some cases many need replaced.
