  • Highly Efficient- Radiant floor heating uses conditioned water to heat your house, your comfort can be precise with room by room control.   You can experience fuel savings up to 40% over forced hot air systems and vaulted ceilings may see even greater savings.

  • Clean and Healthy- No hot circulating air to move dust and airborne particles.  Pollen and mold are greatly reduced.  This is great for people with allergy problems!
  • Warm and Dry Floors- Never step onto a cold floor again, no more cold, damp basements.
  • Silent Operation- No noisy fans, clunking ducting, or rushing air currents.
  • Complete Design Freedom- Place furniture wherever you like, no need to worry about blocking air ducts or grills.

Hydronic Snow Melt Systems

Tired of icy sidewalks, snowy driveways, and a sore back?  A Hydronic Snow Melt System can solve all of these problems.  Snow Melting Systems are installed in a large variety of places, residential and commercial.  Driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, handicap ramps, steep loading ramps, and anywhere it is necessary to keep free of snow and ice.

Here are a few reasons why you should own your own Snow Melt System:

Reduce Liability-  Snow free parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances reduce the risk of injury to people.  This helps control insurance rates and lawsuits.
Improved Access- Makes your entrance more accessible, no more lost business or customers.
Reduced Maintenance- Save time and money, no shoveling, plowing, or salting.  Less wear on carpets from tracked in snow and salt.  Concrete and pavement last longer.
Automatic Operation- Sensors in the slab tell the system when to start and when to turn off.  When installed correctly the system will be trouble free and dependable for years to come.

Boilers:   It can be tricky to get the right boiler for the right job.  There are several things that need to be considered.  First is the proper size.  After determining your BTU load you will need to derate the boiler for altitude based on manufactures specs.  If the input load is less than 200,000 you could consider a high efficiency boiler, with sealed combustion.  The next question is based on application.  Do I need a copper fin boiler, stainless steel boiler or a cast-iron boiler?  They all have their right application, and getting the right boiler for the right job is very important.  High efficiency is not always the right answer.  You need to consider your up front cost verses your long term savings.  If the boiler costs an additional $4000.00 for high efficiency and only saves you $8.00 a month it will take 500 years for you to see the savings.  The margin of savings is also based on the size of the heating demand.  For example, an atmospheric boiler in an 800 sq ft space will cost pennies more to operate than the $1500.00 more expensive high efficiency boiler.  Were as in a 10,000 sq ft space that extra 5 to 10 percent saved will be well worth the extra cost.

Baseboard Heating: Is an excellent way to convert an existing space over to radiant heating.  There are a tremendous number of people around the world enjoying the comfortable heat baseboard and radiators provide. Although you don't get all of the comfort of warm floors, baseboard heat is still a single stage heat. (heating the objects instead of the air)

Indirect Water Heater:  Heat exchangers are very handy.  Harnessing the power of your boiler to heat your domestic hot water is a wonderful option.  water heaters, gas or electric are not all that efficient but definitely have there place.  If you need lots of hot water and quick recovery then an efficient clean and silent tri-angle indirect water heater is what you need.  They last longer, and are much more efficient than a gas or electric water heater.

Radiant Ready Basements: This is an excellent option for the contractor and the homeowner to consider, if they have decided not to install radiant heat through out there house.  Running the tubing before the concrete floor is poured costs a fraction of the cost of a whole system.  Then for minimal cost you can hook it up to a water heater and enjoy warm comfortable heat instead of a cold damp basement in the winter.
